A Legacy of Intellectual Rigor
Andoni Ibarra is a distinguished academic and researcher whose work serves as the intellectual cornerstone of the Basque Diaspora Business Directory & Entrepreneur Network. Originally from Bilbao and currently based in London, Dr. Ibarra has spent decades exploring the intricate relationships between science, technology, and society.
His educational journey began at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), where he earned his degree in Philosophy. This foundational period sparked a lifelong fascination with the "why" behind human progress. He later achieved his PhD from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), solidifying his status as a leading voice in contemporary philosophical thought.
Today, his expertise spans the Philosophy of Science, Science and Technology Studies (STS), Open and Responsible Science, and the History of Science in the 20th Century. It is this unique blend of academic depth and a deep-rooted passion for his heritage that led to the creation of this platform.
